Board of Directors
Maetta is a private company that subscribes to the corporate governance guidelines established by the Toronto Stock Exchange for publicly-held companies.
At Maetta: The Board is made up of a majority of external independent directors; The Chair of the Board is an external independent director.
The Board Committees are chaired by an external independent directors and each committee is made up of a majority of external independent directors. The Board meets regularly without the presence of internal directors. The Board is presently made up of six directors.
Pierre-Georges Roy 
Pierre-Georges Roy is an independent director of Manac Inc. a lead director of Mecachrome Inc. and a board member of iNovia Capital. Since 1978, Mr. Roy has acted as founding President and advisor for Transact International Ltd. (U.K.), a provider of strategic consulting services in mergers, acquisitions and assignments for major international companies and organizations.
Mr. Roy holds a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tri-State College, Indiana, United States.
Serge Bragdon 
Mr. Bragdon is president and CEO of IPL Inc. since 2006. Previously, Mr. Bragdon has held many management key positions for Transcontinental Inc., the largest printer in Canada and sixth-largest in North America.
Mr. Bragdon also held several management position for large corporation such as Uniboard Canada, John Labatt, Catelli, Aliments Delisle and Rolland Inc.
Jean-Pierre Bourbonnais 
Holding over 35 years of experience, Mr. Bourbonnais headed three separate consulting firms specialized in human resource management and corporate structuring.
Recognized as a pioneer in the recruitment and succession planning of senior management in Quebec, Mr. Bourbonnais was also responsible for numerous corporate governance consulting mandates and is credited with the creation of a methodology for evaluating board performance.
Pierre Pharand
Mr. Pharand cumulates over 30 years of experience both as an entrepreneur and investor in technology companies. He currently is Vice President in the private equity group of Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec.
Yvan Beaudoin 
Mr. Beaudoin cumulates over 25 years of experience holding executive positions in technology and medical companies in Canada, US and Europe. Prior to joining Maetta, Mr. Beaudoin spent six years as Chief Operation Officer and Vice President Sales and Marketing at Orthosoft, a Montreal-base developer of highly sophisticated navigation systems and instruments for orthopeadic surgeries. In that position, he oversaw the strategic development of the company, negotiated development and distribution contracts with multinationals of the orthopaedic industry and executed the sale of the company to Zimmer in 2008.
Mr. Beaudoin holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and a MBA from the University of Toronto. He joined Maetta in May 2009.
