Research Partners
Maetta engages in various research and development projects in the areas of new materials, rapid manufacturing and net-shape technologies with the objective of improving performances and reducing cost of its clients applications.
The growth of the MIM technology over the last decade has been driven by its efficiency to produce complex parts in high production volume with significant cost reduction. However, until now, conventional MIM has failed to offer efficient prototyping capability and low production costs with regards to small production volumes typically required by the medical and aerospace markets. In recent years, Maetta, one of the recognized leaders in the MIM technology, has developed a new scalable manufacturing process based on MIM (the Maetta SystemTM) that offers efficient prototyping and low production costs from small to large production volumes.
As a result of its inventiveness and unique metal injection technology, Maetta has been able to develop strong partnerships with worldwide renowned research institutions.
